Yes it does. It bothers them for a little while then they forget about it. Kind of like getting an ear pierced.

As you might remember, I got some eggs from Pocket Farmer. Today I put 15 out of sixteen eggs into lockdown. The one had started but stopped. Mind you this was after the post office took several extra days to get them to me.

I candled the eggs I got from Pocket Farmer on day 10 and they are ALL developing! Go, chickies, go!

Supposed to lay white white, but at this point many lay a slightly tinted or darker.

I candled my shipped eggs this am and have one hundred percent developing.

Not much different than chickens, just harder to handle and transport. Some shows don't have turkey sections, but mostly it hard to get exhibitors because of the handling/trnsport problem.

I'm worried about freezing temps the next three nights. Our fruit trees are all blossoming.
