our first moma hen on her first egg!! Ironically, I just opened the nesting boxes this week. This hen has been doing the "mount me squat" the most when I'm out with them in the yard. The hen that laid today's egg has the biggest, reddest comb. She's like my wing hen in the yard. The coop is painted blue with a home-made run. The girls are actually in the photo too.

The coop got a coat of paint! Babies are going out to play pen today as I continue to prep coop!

Day #4. Our cat Mr. Yang is checking them out. No worries, he only has 4 teeth. I’ll keep an eye on him anyway.

Day 3! introduced them to music and they are so content! sweet babies! play pen with cover arriving soon! gonna get them outside today for a little bit.

Grateful the babies are doing well. day #2 almost complete. I have got to get a run or playpen set up soon.
