I wormed them with Wazine about 8 days ago. Not sure about killing the eggs but I do not think it does from what I recall reading in an article recently. I read the larva can live in the ground for up to seven years.
Thank you! Next time I worm in six months, I will give it a try. It is so much easier in water than to grab each chicken, pry open mouth, inject, mark chicken, then refill syringe, and start over again 18 more times. Keep in mind doing this by myself.

So if I have a syringe for adults that is measured in ml/cc and is marked 1/2, 1, 1 1/2, etc, how much paste dosage should I give each 5 lb chicken? The dosage indicates on the box...
I have a syringe that is broken down by 0.1 ml, 0.2 ml ect up to one 1.0 ml/cc. So if I understand correctly, I would give a 5 lb chx .59 which is just under the 0.6 mark. Wazine is so much easier to does. Two ounces/2 tbls per gallon with the Wazine.

Since getaclue suggested a smaller syringe, I will try that route. Since I have Zimecterin Gold (ivermectin 1.55%/Praziquantel 7.75% paste) how many ml would I give a chicken who weighs approx. 5 to 8 lbs? I do so much appreciate everyone's help!:wee
