Only works on a perfectly flat surface.
Pros: Easy to fill
Cons: Leaks out all of the water if the surface it sits on isn't perfectly falt.
We can't keep this in any of the chicken runs because the ground isn't flat. When they were using the wooden coop, the bedding on the floor wasn't flat enough and it would soak the whole coop.

We got this to keep water in the chicken runs easily. I have issues with my joints, so the goal was to have to fill less, and be able to bring smaller amounts of water over (the hose didn't reach)

This didn't work. The thing now sits on the concrete slab outside the back door because it is the only place flat enough for it. My Guinea fowl drink from it, but I can't use it how it's intend.

I ended up getting a couple smaller water containers that are easier to carry for each coop. We currently have 4 coops.

This stuff is wonderful!
Pros: Everything about it.
Cons: It leaves a dark blue coat on the wound, and it will stain the hair. This isn't really a con though because the wound heals and the stain fades.
I have used this stuff on horses, dogs, and chickens. It is essential to have in your farming first aid kit.
