Pros: Gets along well with humans and other birds, cuddly.
Cons: starts laying late, if this is important to you.
My orp is a fluffy, friendly bird who appears neutral in the pecking order--I have never seen her peck and she rarely gets pecked. She is just a big marshmallow, and will cuddle with you--very soft and friendly. She started laying late and couldn't get it through her head that nestboxes were for eggs, but eventually figured it out. She is a great bird!

Pros: Sturdy, can be heated
Cons: rusts, leaks
Besides the eventual rust that comes with most old metal waterers, water spills out the trough of this when I refill it.
Pros: Holds plenty, hangs well
Cons: Feed doesn't fall into trough when low.
It is a VERY good feeder, but when there is less than an inch of feed left, it doesn't fall into the trough like it should.
Pros: Will not break, good volume, perfect for chicks under 1 month
Cons: Spills easily, fills with debris if not raised.
This is good for chicks still in the baby stage. But it fills up with sawdust and poop when they get older.
Pros: Interesting, good tips
Cons: none
I was wanting to get chicks, but knew none of the finer points of raising them. Now I do!

Pros: great eggs, great personalities, pretty birds
Cons: none
GREAT!!
Pros: Sturdy
Cons: Must be heated, rusts, must be raised off ground
The biggest issue is that the hens will poop in it if it is not raised off of the ground. It also rusts quickly. But it is a nice sturdy waterer. Much better than the makeshift bucket we were using.
