Pros: Lay a lot of eggs, friendly, calm,go broody and more!
Cons: Nope,none.
I've had a few of these and love them a lot! I have a rooster right now only.He is very sweet! And the ladies love him! I use to have a hen and she hatched chicks in the middle of winter! She layed all year too and almost an egg every single day! Their eggs are very large in size as well! They are very beautiful too! They are pretty calm and don't get worked up to easily and get along with most everyone! Here is my only black australorp that I have right now his name is Maxwell.

Pros: Beautiful! Sweet! Protective! Big eggs!
Cons: None!
I must say when I first saw these geese in person I instantly fell in love with them :love they were so beautiful and let me just say intimidating! They weren't even being mean they were just so large and loud! My two goslings (9 months old)are just so protective of me and the rest of the flock they bite everyone and everything! They get an attitude with me sometimes but aren't brave enough yet to attack or bite me but I've dealt with enough mean birds I'm not intimidated now that I've raised them since they were small but at first glance  they are very fierce but I truly wouldn't want any other breed.I love these and I can't wait to see what their genders are! If you can get past their fierceness I know you'll love them too!

I posted this 4 weeks ago WOW have they both changed I have two females & they both lay! One goose is very nippy and aggressive to strangers and predators even more so now she does bite at me but I just tell her no and pull away & that shoos her off.But strangers look out! I always wanted an attack goose now I have one! I love her she is wonderful! :clap
