An excellent product. Has saved many of my struggling chicks through the years. Has all the vitamins/minerals electrolytes needs to support a struggling chick.
I always keep a supply of Nutri-Drench in my tool kit. Comes in handy during hot days or with a recovering chicken. Highly recommend having a supply on hand.
I do not have any other vitamins to compare it to because I have not tried anything else, but I can think of several incidences, especially with chicks, where they were on the brink and giving them some of this in their mouth was what saved them. It can buy you time to figure out a diagnosis and treatment of a failing bird, and sometimes it even seems to cure them of whatever problem they were having. Good for stress.
i had some and decided to experiment with two chicks that i was raising. they were the same breed same age same parents. they bot received the same feed the only difference was that i gave one the feed supplement, two weeks later i measured them the one who received it was almost two heads taller than the other one and to this day he is still bigger.
Cons: Lacking in B vitamins, iodine, and liver support/detox such as thioctic acid or choline.
This product is based on the black vitamin solution used by game fowl enthusiasts for many years. It is a good basic supplement for weak chicks suffering from shipping stress or older fowl needing a lift during moult to help encourage appetite. It is a good individual treatment but doesn't have the profile of nutrients some soluble powders have, which are used for flock treatment. It helps a basic nutrient deficiency, but is not a blood builder.
