Flockstar

I wanted a super-simple way to keep track of the eggs my backyard hens are laying. Flockstar is very easy to use. You can track eggs laid by each chicken, weight of each egg, check off if an egg was broken or cracked, and make notes. You can even take pictures of the eggs if you want to. (I just took a picture of one egg to show coloration for that particular hen, plus a photo of the hen with name.) You can see the heaviest egg laid, who is doing the best job, etc., and there's a handy little calendar that lays it all out for you.

Those who have a lot of hens and want to just track the eggs laid in a given day can do a bulk count. I'm sure there are more sophisticated apps out there, but this is exactly what I was looking for. I really like the title of the app, too! Flockstar...
