hi guys, it is almost hatch day for my broody hens eggs and i was wondering if you could give me any advice on how to care for both!
I've heard that you have to feed the mother with chick starter but i really need help!!!!
also she is really relaxed and doesn't peck me when i go near her. (she does puff up though.) the reason why i dont know is because she is only 7 months old and is her first brood.
hi guys, one of my buff orpingtons went broody the other day but i'm not sure if i should trust her with eggs yet. Yesterday she came off the dummy eggs for an hour but i dont know!!!

Ok, thanks for the advice. I've decided to, if a hen goes broody, let her keep the chicks and not take any away. i will send you guys pics of the chicks and momma if i get some (i hope i do)
