Hmm...He lives alone right now, but sometimes goes in the quail pen, where he may have been pecked while eating... I'll see if it's healing on it's own.

Thank you everyone for your answers! About the breed, I don't think she is a white leghorn as she hatched from a brown egg, not a white one. I am also thinking, can she live with a quail named Edmund when she is older (if I introduced them when she is a bit bigger)?

Also, does anyone have an idea of what breed she (or he) can be?

Thank you everyone for replying! The two babies have been doing well outside with my grown quail, I haven't bought a lamp yet for them but the double heaters work for now. I put a rabbit heating pad on the bottom and the brooder plate on top until we get a lamp.
