Okay thank you very much I will definitely try this, I wish I had known this before I had put her and our other rooster that hatched with her in the big coop. He was gorgeous, still feel guilty about his passing sometimes but there’s nothing I can do now so must move on. But anyways thank you...
Haha I hope so. The diet they have is regular layers pellet with occasionally a mixed in supplement that helps with eggs, scratch grain in morning and evening and meal worms. And occasionally vegetables that are safe for them to eat almost once a week. During the winter they also get a head of...
Thank you very much I appreciate it! I will start doing that tommorow morning! Do you have any idea of how long I should wait before putting her back it? She also has some sort of thing wrong with her legs, she’s a very slow walker and kind of limps ever since she was hatched, could that be a...
I need advice/help! I am so confused because today when I went to check on my flock I saw something very disturbing. When I went out one of my favorite Ameracauna chickens were trapped under and fence, still very much alive, and the other chickens in the flock had pecked and dug a whole into her...
Than
k you! We have had Easter eggers lots of times before and they look similar to ones we have had before. We have close to 45 chickens now! Thank you so much for the help, we are ordering speckled Sussex soon, we are so excited to add them to our flock again!
Today we just got new baby chicks, they were in a mixed breed bucket so we have no clue what the chipmunk pattern ones are. Are they americaunas? Are they speckled Sussex (that is what we are hoping for). Any tips will help! We know that the white and grey ones are most likely amerucauna. Thank you!
Ok! Thank you so much for your concern she is separated and hasn’t improved. We are going to try your solution and we will let you know if anything improves!
She hasn’t improved and we separated her, thank you so much we are going to try to see those medicines work and we will update, thank you for your concern!
We have this hen, she is around a year or two old and she’s wheezing and her comb is like purplish red color. She won’t breath from her beak it’s constant breathing through the mouth, she won’t eat it drink, just trying to breath, does anyone know anything about it? She’s the only one doing it...
We just hatched chicks and one chick seems to want to lay on its back and it’s very wobbly. We attempted to help it by putting it in a little container with some paper Towl so it can sit normal but it’s very wobbly. What’s wrong with her? Is it normal or should we be concerned? Fixable?
