    Size difference in Welsummer

I will have to take some good photos tomorrow. The ones I have don’t really show the size difference. I will check in then.

    Size difference in Welsummer

Hi all! You’ve always been so helpful so I thought I would ask this here! I have my 6 girls; 1 Buff Orpington, 1 Lavender Orpington, 1 EE, 2 Black Sexlinks, and 1 Welsummer who are all 9 weeks old. They are all fully feathered and doing great! I have noticed my Welsummer is significantly...

    Are these all pullets?

7 week update: I think I can safely say I have all hens. Lavender worried me for a bit but I think she’s actually a hen thankfully.

    Are these all pullets?

Thanks. That’s a bummer if it ends up that way. It means I have to rehome it but I’ll still wait and see for a bit.

    Are these all pullets?

Hi all, I messaged before regarding my lavender Orpington but now I’m getting a little nervous about my other chicks too. My EE is HUGE! Makes me think maybe she isn’t a she after all. My lavender still has me nervous. I have 2 black chicks that are supposed to be Black Sexlinks but they look...

    Hi all!

Oh! Good to know! I am new to this so I’m just basing my actions on what I’ve researched. I guess it won’t hurt to put them out sooner than planned. Thank you for the wisdom!

    Hi all!

Hi! Yes, both the coop and run are completely ready to go but they are still only 4 1/2 weeks old and not fully feathered yet. It’s still pretty cold here too so I’m thinking it will still be a couple weeks before I put them outside.

    Is my Pullet a cockerel?

They are both absolutely gorgeous! I was a little worried that my Lavender (yes, that’s her name…unless she turns out to be a he) wasn’t feathering like the rest of my chicks but now I’m a little less worried. Thank you for sharing!!
