My family and I moved out to the Yelm area. We are currently living in a community that doesn't allow us to have hens, sadly. So I was hoping to find someone nearby that might have eggs to sell?
One of my girls (I haven't figured out who yet) has been laying rather larger eggs, and sometimes the egg is laid with some blood on it. They are all less then a year old, and this past year has been my first experience with chickens. I don't know if this is just because she is making large eggs...
I have read from different sources how much and when to put raw acv in water for chickens. My question is how much does everyone put in water for chicks and do you add it all the time or do you follow the once a month for a week method?

I swear I have to change the chicks water every few hours becasue they always have it full of bedding. The water is even sitting on top of an overturned plate to keep it higher. I don't want to make it so high that the runty one can't reach. It's driving me nuts.... anything else I can do to...
The back story is we started out with threek chicks, about 6 weeks old when we got them. One RIR, a barred rock and a buff orpington. The buff orpington didn't make it.
So we got 6 more chicks, a few days old from the local feed store. Two of each of the same breeds. Now at about 2 1/2 weeks...
Two of my chicks are 11 weeks old now and one of them (barred rock) seems to sneeze often. I am new to this and I have no idea if it is normal or not. The other (rir) doesn't seem to make the same "sneeze" noise. There doesn't appear to be anything else wrong that I can tell. Just for refrence...
