Here are the two with flash. You can better see the little one’s color. Keep in mind, her mother is either a red bantam Cochin, or a white one (which I doubt).

We have a thing 2! From the bantam Cochin egg, this one has dark stripes, like those on a welsummer for example, pink legs, and light feathering. Not as much as the little black one though.

We have some dominate copper marans, and they have mild feathered feet. So I can only assume that one of the fathers could be either Bootsie (Bantam Cochin x Buff Brahma) or our Red Bantam Cochin rooster.

It Hatched!!!:love:wee:ya:jumpy A cute little single-combed black and white, feather footed little angel! (I think that egg was from one of our Marans.)

We’ve got a pip in the biggest egg and active chirping! (The bantam egg has begun chirping too) I feel like a new momma!

I could feel quite a bit of movement in the Bantam Cochin and egg this morning! 😊 I am going to be monitoring Yuzu and her eggs very closely today.

As for the three chicken eggs that are due to hatch in three days, they are all doing well. I think Yuzu will do great as a mother. And I am very excited to see what hatches out, especially out of the bantam Cochin egg.
