It's been three weeks since they hatched. Here's some updated pics of them! As you can see, got a nice variety of colours so far. Obligatory fluffy butt shot! Chick on the left has feathers coming in at all angles. Is that frizzle? Love the pattern on this one! Hopefully, it keeps...

Okay, silly question (sort of) and probably shouldn't even be here (but it concerns my recent hatch), but if the hen is sex-link (black or red) but the roo isn't, will that still mean the chicks can be sex-linked?

Yup, Dorkings are five toed. One in my recent hatche has a five-toes, so I know her daddy was the Dorking and not the RIR!

Just looked at the description, and they need to hatch on the 8th of April, the day BEFORE Easter. So, set time for chickens is the 18th Mar. The eggs will be fairly fresh. Maybe I'll wait a bit on them, and just set the bantams early, since I know she's been holding those eggs.

Hmmm, hadn't thought of that... It would only be a few extra days... BUT, can I wait that long?!? I'll see how many eggs I end up getting.
