Here's my first ever duck egg...which was out of a Pekin. This pic might not help ya any??? It was the same size as my average sized chicken eggs....pretty much completely white. To me the shells feel a little different than chicken eggs...smoother maybe, softer but not as brittle...

My Pekins I have pics of on here quite a ways back are parents now.... Hatched yesterday. ...more working on their shells now. This is my first time trying to hatch ducks and it has been great fun! This little one pipped Sunday. I was nervous for 2 whole days almost before it...

....it would have some attention getting power or cover up dirty moldy dishes smell...hehe

I think some one should capture the aroma of a well soiled kiddy duck pool for bottling and selling as a human or house fragrance....been thinking about that every time I clean my ducks' out..... mmmm mmmm, good smelling stuff right there...

Thanks! That's why I posted it. The quality of the pic isn't very good, but I thought it showed how Pekins standout. If you look close there is 11 Rouens in it.... Also, I keep meaning to say....Sorry about your ducks!!!!!!....I know they are in great hands!!!!!!,... glad they are all...
