Yeah they can pretty much eat the same things, I've never had swans but I've had ornamental fowl, another great treat is catfish food, they love it (you know the kind that floats) :) also you can never go wrong with meal worms
Oh i completely know how this is, one of my girls (Farm girl) lost her sister, they were best friends and went everywhere together, she didnt eat for days and she just sulked around all day. I'm so happy she perked up though, i just let her morn and held her some to let her know everything would...
Some worms that they find in the ground contain parasites, mine free range all day from 9:30 to about 7:30 and i know they probably get worms but, just make sure to always worm them
and its not aggression this is the most common thing people see as aggression when in the end its because he sees you as a female duck and he wants to mate, he's not aggressive he just wants some special lovin, its a common mistake people make but its nothing to do with him just wanting to hurt you!
well i don't think rose petals r very safe, i think they can have blue berries, but i know for almost certain ducks love their greens so lettuce and cabbage r great, even broccoli! but of course raw broccoli
Mine haven't and i have muscovies lol!, when i give them the eggs shell though i let the inside dry all the way and grind both parts down to till its like sand and they eat it in their formulated feed i give them about every two weeks since they're free range
Does anybody else ut honey in there ducks water?, i put 2 teaspoons to a gallon and let it dissolve in hot water and mix it around so anyway i heard it gives them extra surgeries and some vitamins
