If the water was clean, I don’t see why not. I’d be inclined to put medicine on him after a swim since the scabs will be more soft and will seep in better. But yes, having access to a pool like normal may not be a good idea since we all know how quickly it gets poopy.

I bet he will be fine in no time. @casportpony has been helping me with one of my ducks that has a broken wing. The bone was protruding out of the skin. And I wrapped it and put antibiotics on it. That’s it. And she’s doing fine. So I bet your duck will be too. They are tough boogers!

If the feathers are drooping to the ground, it’s just because of the heavy blood feathers. Their muscles will grow and then they will be able to hold them properly.:D But if they are bending outwards away from the torso, that is angel wing.

If you were wanting to do the wrap, you could do the same thing in her video on each side. I wouldn’t think it would take more than a week to correct angel wing.
