    Did you calibrate your secondary thermometer? Where is the secondary thermometer placed? If it's rotating around the incubator with the turner, then fluctuations are to be expected and won't be detrimental to the hatch. That's one of the perks to having a turner that goes all the way around...

    Are you elevating the thermometer? Are there eggs in the incubator or is it empty? It should technically read 99.5F at the top of the eggs so it will sometimes read a bit lower at the bottom. Not a significant difference, but if the temp is correct in the outer ring, I don't think I would...
