I don’t use layer feed either. Commercial layer feeds only meet the bare minimum and are junk.

Alfalfa is also high in calcium. We feed it to dairy goats and cows before they give birth to aid in milk production and prevent Ketosis.

I hatched 6 silkie eggs from certain birds that I paired up and have a couple that just have me wowed.

You could end up with both provided your satin carries the silkie gene. If it doesn’t then you would get all satin.
