He is 21 weeks and I just figured it out, so I say pretty quiet. The hatchery was so wonderful about the refund and such.

I got up early and opened the window...yep he crowed several times. It wasn't loud though. not a peep during the rest of the day. We'll see.

So, I just got a call back from the hatchery, they confirmed he is a boy. Pheadra is now Fred or....taking suggestions.

I saw these two as well. Both are in northern Idaho. I'm in the southern part. 45 min from Nevada border. I will definitely keep them in mind. It's a beautiful drive.

I just email the place I ordered it from. This order has been difficult from the beginning. Replacement order resulted in two DOA and the little EE you see in with the Fav and AM was the only one to survive. Then they refunded the order. Awesome, but left me fed up with 6-week-old, and I ordered...

I paid dearly for this as a six-week-old pullet. This was the original order. The EE on the right ended up being a roo. While we're at it, is the Faveralle a girl?

Help, this chook has me stumped. Almost 21 weeks, same age as the Fav. It has not crowed but does the chicken song often.

Did your suspect roo crow at all? I have one like this that was hatched first week of March. No crowing just egg song from s/he.
