One of my Malays kinda resembles your Liege with feathering, & leg length, which is kind of interesting. He was close to 7lbs at 4 months. Need to weigh him again.

Very interesting indeed. I got my chicks from Cackle. They shorted my order, so I was just wondering if they replaced my JungleFowl order with one of their Old English Gamefowls. But they may not have thanks to your post. It explains what I'm seeing.

I'm gonna get some pictures of my Red JungleFowls, well they're supposed to be JungleFowl, but are looking alot like a verity of Standard Old English Gamefowl, known as Black Breasted Red JungleFowl Old English Gamefowl. Just want your opinions on them. Your birds are looking nice by the way.

I can't do free range quite yet, but will be getting a run expansion, as soon as I can build it. Will be adding on 13.1' X 6.5' X 6.3' to the existing run. I could let the hen out, & let them work it out, but supervised, incase it gets really bad.

Should I let them settle their fight, or keep separated for awhile? They went after each other again after I let one out earlier. If they don't get along anymore, I may have to separate one into their own coop with rooster. I got some red JungleFowl I can probably pair them with.

Have you had issues with CrackerFowl hens getting into fights? They got into their first fight yesterday, bloody one. No serious injuries, just nicked combs that bled alot. They lived together, no issues for two years, then the spurred hen decided to attack the broody(I need to break her, she's...

I have Malays. I want to get Liege Fighters, but can't yet. I know those breeds/mix have a very Gamey disposition though. So, that maybe what's going on. He may have to be housed separately from the others.

You're birds are looking good. I'm gonna be doing something similar next spring. I got two Throw back birds from my Wheaten Crele Orpington project, that have more of a Gamefowl type body instead of Orpington, so I'm gonna repurpose the project. The breed I'm gonna create is gonna be called...

Crooked toes can be caused by a vitamin deficiency too, it's not always genetic, or incubation error.
