Nope, sorry... wing sexing is only possible from crossing a fast feathering bird/breed to a slow feathering bird/breed... vent sexing or waiting til they grow out is the only accurate way to sex Ameraucanas...
Ah! Could just be one that had more lighter down spread further than the others... I have seen quite a bit of variation in black chicks...
Would love to see pics once they're fluffed up and not in the red light, lol... :)
You got very lucky! And I agree, I wouldn't try it again, lol...
I would go directly to a known breeder, here's a good listing...

Clif Redden is who I would start with contacting, he has been working on a line of better laced blues...
Honestly, they should be just fine for 4H... 4H isn't as strict as APA shows... but if you're going to be doing 4H for a while, I would definitely get a nice cock bird to breed them to... that way if you want to advance to APA shows after a while, you'll have even better quality to keep going...
Top ones are splash and bottom ones are blues... yes, they are definitely Ameraucanas... very pretty... I really like the body type of the one in the very last little pic!
When they are listed for sale, true Ameraucanas are always designated by a variety color... if there is no variety listed or choice of varieties, or name is misspelled like Americana/Americauna, then those are usually EE's...
Pretty certain you have 3 pullets... these 3...
They're all blue wheaten pullets... cockerels look to be blue wheatens and wheatens... for color possibilities dependingvon which colors you want to produce, wheaten over blue wheaten will give you approx 50/50 wheatens and blue wheatens... blue...
Wheaten and Blue Wheaten are fairly easy to sex, but I am having difficulty seeing all clearly, lol... 1st pic looks like 3 cockerels and 4 pullets, but 2nd pic looks like 4 cockerels and 3 pullets... either way, very close to 50/50 on your genders...
Yes... EE's are anything that can lay a color other than variations from white to brown... whether hatchery sourced, crosses or mixed color varieties, all can be considered EE's... even Legbar crosses...
Lavender is in the works to be recognized as Self Blue... Self Blue is completely...
