Yupppp! Once I was watching an egg for forever and the second I left to go get something, it hatches 😭😂 I was so mad I JUST missed it lol it was my first ever chick from my first ever hatch. Chicken eggs but still. The quail hatch like crazy too lol

I fixed the cage up so no more have been taken but yeah. I thought it was just a small ish wound that could be treated and started rinsing it till I noticed her whole leg was just gone 😬

Yeah cause right before we left, something got into the cage and took one and ripped the leg off of another one that I had to put down 😭 plus that prolapsed one I put down back in January. 😭 and the ones still in the freezer from last year.

Thanks! That makes sense! I just got some layer feed yesterday to switch them to as I think that may have been part of the problem too. I had them on Flockraiser because of the boys so hopefully the layer will help too. I feel terrible 😭
