We had beef roast, stuffed with garlic; crowder peas, rice and gravy. I will probably add a salad and have leftovers tonight.

That sounds really good as well. When we do twice baked potato for dinner, it's usually chili-cheese, with green onions diced small and sprinkled on top for astatics.

Things like frozen pot pie and pre mixed salad are some things we keep around for busy days when we are all tired. Lots of veggies in those two, so I feel a little better than drive-thru take out.

Everything tastes better when you grow and make it yourself. When DD was young, we had potted, snack plants around the pool. DD would swim, and then get out the pool, eat a few cherry tomatoes and get back in the pool. :lau

Kids made the best Mac and cheese from scratch. (by themselves :celebrate ). In the oven with the bread crumb topping and the whole nine yards. :drool

Enough Roast beef left over for sandwiches, DH picking up poor boy bread on the way home. :drool:th

I made creamed spinach (actually DD did most of the work to get dinner on the table, I watched and answered questions). And it was eaten up before anyone had a chance to take a photo of any thing. :lau :lau
