Do you think it would be okay if I let my jap girls raise standard chicks?

I am so excited! My Jap girls went broody on an empty nest and would not lay eggs. After blocking the nest for a few days then moving it, they are laying again! I think if we got them some fertile eggs and left them in the nest they would go broody again.

All three of them are broody. Blocking the nest is a good idea. I will try anything!

My jap bantams will not get off the empty nest. They won't even lay any eggs! Any advice?
