I can never get mine to grow past the subcutaneous epidermis areas. I’m considering hair extensions. It will be painful & expensive, but I really think it’ll be worth it.
We didn’t plant anything this year except the pumpkins. I want to grow them across the entire garden. I have visions of a fabulous graveyard pumpkin patch at Halloween.
Maybe this is the year The Great Pumpkin will come. “Sincerity as far as the eye can see!”
I usually do too. Last year we got them in early enough, but the ducks got thru the chicken wire & ate them down to the dirt while I was out of town.
No measly chicken wire this year.:old
I love the green ones!
Heck, I love the orange ones & the white ones & the stripy yellow ones & the boxy grey ones & the Cinderella ones & the little sugar Pies & the Peter Pans & the giant ones you can put small children into... I’m not totally sure about the ones completely covered in warty...
This one was green. Just starting to turn Orange. I love the mature green ones.
We’ve got plenty of bees, but we’re having a water crisis. I’m trying to save grey water from the sink to help water the plants.
I’ve only got one, but it’s treated like an honored guest in my yard. I’m not sure what kind it is. Bigger than a pie, but smaller than a moose. I’ll see if I can get a pic today.
My cats use a ladder to get into DDs upper bunk. It’s weird to watch.
My neighbors cat got stuck in their tree a couple months ago. It was too tall & narrow to go up to get him, so we just left the two story ladder against the tree. As soon as we all walked away the cat came down by himself.
That camera is amazing! Zoom in on the second pic & you can see all of his eyes & his tiny butthairs. You can actually see the segments in his legs. Incredible!
