I started making our own noodles and never had enough room...tables were always filled with sheets of noodles, then strings of noodles, and there was never enough counter space or tables for them to dry, and it seemed like they took forever to dry laying flat...so I came up with a solution! It's not perfection, but it was quick, cost me about $2.50 in wood, string I had in the garage, and screws that were just laying around. The legs fold up beside itself so it can be stored flat or against a wall. Like I said, it's not perfection, but it allowed me to still have sheets of noodles underneath of it so I could work more efficiently! I just thought I'd post some pics in case anyone else out there has had this same problem and is looking for a solution

It's 3 ft. long by 1.5 wide by 1.5 high. I marked my string lines only 1.5 inches apart and just used a hand saw to make the slits for the string. It took about 30 minutes from start to finish. I noticed when I strung the string that I pulled it really tight and bowed the boards in just a little, but like I said, this was just a quick fix--for now

Hi,

THAT is a GREAT idea! I struggled with the same problem and I came up with using plastic hangers (as pictured below), but your idea is much more practical and effective (can dry lots more noodles).
