What's your Favorite larger capacity Incubator?
Last Christmas I received my first incubator. Guess the heating pad in a bucket with my duck eggs was a hint I caught the incubating bug.
Seeing older cabinet incubators for sale now and then, but they look in bad shape and are still very...
14 turkey eggs incubating. So over the moon excited. Not sure if they will be broad breasted bronze BBB or burbon red crosses. Our hen "Jenny" is Broad breasted bronze.

Hey all 🙋♀️🙋♀️
We’re on our way to check out some commercial Robbins incubators from an estate sale, we’re able to purchase them for $25 each so we’re likely going to it ...BUT... I’ve had a hard time finding any operational info on these units.
Not completely sure on the model number yet but...
Hi all! I have a Magicfly incubator. Before putting my quail eggs in, i ran it with another digital hygrometer inside to make sure the temp held steady around 99f-100f. I live somewhere very hot and dry (our inside temp is always between 77-79).
The incubator last night was set at 36.9C and the...
Hey everyone,
It’s my first time incubating eggs, and I’m incubating 15 eggs in an automatic incubator, all the eggs are growling really well, except one egg, that does have veins, but it’s in a very disproportionate shape, is it going to hatch? And if it does hatch will the chick be normal...
Hi everyone!
So since yesterday I've been trying to calibrate my incubator and my problem is this: I set the temperature to 37,8°C on the incubator and it reads 37,8°C with its internal sensor, but I also have an additional hygro-thermometer that reads 36,1°C (it also has a 1°C margin error)...
I know this has been discussed but not up to date. So as of September 15, 2021, what is your favorite incubator?:bow
Looking for something that's QUIET, automatic, and not cheap plastic that can accommodate ~20 eggs:jumpy
Bon Bon told me she is sick of buying things that break and is hoping...
This baby hatched out almost fully at 7:45 this morning. This picture was taken at 12:40pm. It’s been 5 hours and still not fluffing up? Is this normal? Also still has curly toes. My incubator is 99.5° and hovering around 70% humidity.
We are moving from our farm back to the city. They have limits on animals on the property and so some of our animals have to find new homes within the next month. We are located on the East side of DFW.

I have read that you can still incubate your chicken's egg 30 days after no rooster. I am not sure if that is true or not, but my question is, if I change my rooster, how long do I toss eggs until I get the breed I want? Maybe not toss eggs....but you get what I mean.
Had a broody hen that was sitting on several eggs at different stages of development. When candled, some were tiny little embryos moving and a few were ready to hatch. We had 4 to hatch but they all died. I think the mama pecked them or stomped them. Idk. Anyways, we bought an incubator and put...
There are a lot of different methods of incubating eggs.
When I decide to incubate, I personally have chosen to stick to the recommended temperature and humidity recommended online as well as what it instructs for my specific incubator. Currently, I have a Nuture Right 360 that I have hatched...

This is my first time using an incubator.
Out of 8 eggs I’ve ended up with two that are developed. They weren’t due to hatch until tomorrow and locked the incubator down yesterday afternoon.
I’ve had both eggs start to pip at 8pm last night. One has hatched over night. I’ve kept the humidity up...
Hi all, I have this old homemade incubator that I have only used for ill pigeons and their chicks. It has a thermometer an automatic light-heat-situation but there is no way of measuring humidity. My question is is there some kind of way I can keep the humidity more or less correct without the...
I have a hen that lays every two days and I just bought a new incubator. I would like to try to hatch at least five. What is the best way to go about doing this? Thanks!!
My incubator isn’t getting hot enough. The display on the incubator itself says 38c but the two thermometers I put inside say 34? Anyone know how I can fix this? I also have a noter cheap incubator thy I’m reluctant to use but does get up to temp? There are currently 6 duck eggs in there on day...
Hi there!
I rescued a couple of Mallard duck eggs from my garden a few weeks back. The mother had been sitting on them for about a week before the nest was attacked (these two eggs were the only two left intact).
The eggs seemed to be doing well in our incubator up until today, when I checked...
Hi there everyone 😊
I'm completely new to caring for Duck Eggs!! - A Duck laid 14 in our garden and then a cat killed one and scared the mother away :( So I've decided to look after them. They have been in the incubator I bought for them roughly two days, and I've noticed a little crack on one...
