We eat ketchup on our stuffed peppers here in the south. Mom uses a tomato based sauce. Shes also from damn near Canada.

I always wondered what fueled the resolve to repel the invasion in 1812.

Years ago at a an airshow in Texas, I was talking with a NATO bomber crew. (They were a composite of member nations). One of the Americans made some crack about envading Canada, like it would be a cakewalk. I mentioned that we tried that a couple hundred years ago and they handed our a$$es to us. The Canadian airman didn't say a thing but he was grinning from ear to ear.
