10 week old hen..

I got her out of the barred rock container at tractor supply, obviously is not what they said she was. She is bantam sized and all black. I’m just curious as to what she is. Thank y’all

10 weeks would make her a pullet. I'm not real sure what she is though. Can we get some pics of her standing on her own? Body shape and stance are major factors in determining breed.

Are you sure the container didin't have multiple chicks? Reason I ask at Wilco farm store the container sign had two breeds in there. We bought both of the breeds. There was Australorps and Sex Links in the same container in May.

Those look like Australorps! Do they have a Green sheen to their feathers?

It is possible they put another breed in that container and did not mark the container with the proper breed on the sign. I would give them a call.

That sheen would happen with any black bird
