15th Annual BYC Easter Hatch-Along

I have forgotten what temp chicks should be at. I have my brooder warming up ready to move them as soon as the temp gets to 80 F but I am not sure that is enough coming from 99 F.
First Week its best to have them at 95 F, then take it down 5 degrees each week until around/after week four... or until you hit room temperature. Whatever comes first

I’ve been loving on everyone’s posts with their adorable chicks waiting for mine to finish hatching!!

Thankfully we finished on Sunday :celebrate Only had to help 2 chicks in total out of everyone that hatched, only after they externally pipped. The ones that didn’t make it to hatch definitely weren’t going to have a good QOL so we are lucky to have so many healthy ones that were able to make it out of the shell :love
