My babies just arrived today, but I am a little concerned about the Brinsea brooder. When I put my hand under it, it doesn't seem like its very warm.. Is it warmer for the girls than it feels on my hand??

The Brinsea brooder works like a heat plate so it will be warm enough for the chicks as they actually touch it, rather than just a hand underneath it. I use these all the time and have found them to be great at brooding chicks as they replicate a hen so well.

Good luck with your new chicks, they are so cute! :love

Awesome!! Thank you!! :)
With colder weather coming up on us I was a little worried for my babies..
