I'm looking for Buff Orpington and Australorp show quality birds. I am trying to add some superior genes into my current flock. I am in the process of culling and selecting the biggest healthiest birds from the hatchery stock I have right now.20 weeks old. Looks as if Ill have to cull about 4 or 5 of the 13 hens and I am already down to 1 Australorp Rooster. He was about twice as wide and taller than the rest. I would love to replace the culled birds with a great line. I'm not really looking to show these birds, Heck I will even crossbreed the Aussies with the Buffs. I just want good heavy dual purpose birds in my flock. Meat and eggs. What Id really like to get is a HUGE Buff Orp rooster to be the man of the hen house. If anyone knows of or has one that's in his prime and needs a place let me know.
