A new Israeli company have found a way that CHANGES the sex of male chicks to female IN THE EGG in the first 14 days of incubation! The goal is to achieve 90% of females! It uses special voice frequency to achieve that!

This is really interesting, but Im not going to lie, I dont think this is "hope" or "saving" them. A lot of the egg industry is pretty nasty, it isnt like how we as poultry keepers take care of our birds. And they all end up being for meat after a short amount of time. It isnt a nice thing, for hens and male chicks both.

Even if they manage to develop female phenotype, how would that affect breeding? You can't change a chromosome.
