A Question About Ducks - Broodiness?

Yes, in fact sometimes they pull out so many off their chest they get a little bald spot there that is called a "broody patch".

Does anyone have any tips for me please? I have a broody black Swedish duck, but no drake, so she's really wasting her time! Getting a drake and letting her nest where she's trying isn't an option at the moment (too many badgers and foxes around), so any ideas how to stop her beng broody? Or do I just have to wait it out until she gives up!

when ducks pull there fethers out dose it mean there making a nest 2 go broody?

inside there house i got some shavens and some hay and thay puting there fethers on top of the hay
