Add-a-motor chicken coop automatic door opener

Can't wait to install and try this out. anyone have any suggestions as to what makes it work best?
Unable to always be there to let the girls out in the morning and make sure they're closed up at night. Once they get into the routine of putting themselves to bed at night.

Dh took apart a drill and used that as the motor. There are lots of ideas out there. I don't know how I lived without mine!

DH didnt want to get into all the wiring, figured with time and finding all the parts buying one would be easier and less apt to malfunction causing problems later.
