It might be that the ads are clogging your phone's memory and/or the bandwidth available and making attachment upload (which is usually way slower than download anyway) really hard. Meaning your phone is busy processing the ads and can't do much else.

I think maybe you answered the wrong post? I agree, what you describe might be what @WhoDatChick was experiencing.

I've never had a problem using byc on my phone.

My reason for avoiding ads is that I find tracking creepy, so I reduce it as much as I can.
