My Paul smith line AMs started laying at 8.5 month old

I have four pullets from Paul Smith hatched mid February. One has been laying a few months, another a month or so, and a third just started laying. I am waiting on the fourth.

Mine hatched in March. I really didn't expect them to lay until spring

I have 2 Ameraucanas, Paul Smith line. When do they start laying? Mine are 7 months old, but no eggs. Also, will they lay through the winter. I live in southern NH.

Mine from Paul S. are 30 wks old today and three of the nine hens started laying this last week. I am in E. TN and I have lights on mine.

Ok, so, how long do we wait on these beauties to lay? I have heard so many different things..but..I'm hearing mostly, that they take longer to wait on..like 7 months?? Like mine that I've had.

I've had a few, and that's how long, guess I'm hoping that I may hear that they have had theirs lay earlier.

I just had one begin at 24 weeks, and two more at 25 weeks. Waiting on the last hen.

That's great. Now if my new girl is coming up on 6 months.

Plan for longer and get a great surprise if it is earlier. This time of year, expect later.
