Almost got it right.

Black x blue = 50% black, 50% blue

The rest of the combinations would be:

Black x splash = 100% blue
Blue x splash = 50% blue, 50% splash

They wouldn't want to breed the wheaten to any of those colors though. Would likely only want to breed the lavenders to themselves.

anyone good at sexing wheaten chicks?

How old are they and do you have a picture of their tails? At about a week old, I identify who has a tail and who does not. Works better if you have more than one so that you have a comparison. Tails, girls, no tails, boys. Not 100% accurate, but gives you a good idea.

these guys are super easy to sex at about 4 weeks. if you see any black feathers besides the ones on the wings youve got a male.
