Oh they are so "beardy"! Too cute.
The roo I have with the pale yellow has it above his wings, which makes me think that in that case it's not from the sun. I can't be sure about your guy, but he is handsome

Hey Happymtn, the pullets we hatched out this year using the rooster we hatched from eggs you sent us last spring are laying now and the egg is a blue/green color.

Horizontal to the ground being 0, then straight up would be 90, so 45 would be half way between horizontal and straight up.

or when the minute hand of a clock is between 7 & 8​
