Thx! I am so happy I finally had a couple eggs to that poor cochin. She would not give up til she got some babies.

Well, my brazen hussy Black Ameraucana pullet did it. She laid our first Ameraucana egg!!!

Such a fuss preparing for its arrival. She sang and trilled and preened and covered herself with nest materials. It's a teeny tiny little thing. Probably appropriate for a 22 week old pullet. Looks to have decent colour. Although it was hard to tell in the nest box as she's still sitting on it. If it's worthy, I'll post pictures later.
