The AM's were admitted in 1984 so you will not be finding a legal version online. The Standard is revised every 10 years. The Marans almost made it, but we were out of SOP's and had to go to print. These are selling pretty quick........ We will catch it in the reprint and not wait until the revision.

The Marans will be a supplement at the back of the SOP and will have no illustrations until the revision in 8-9 years.

You are lucky, Dan! Someone else told me out of 13 chicks, they only got one pullet from my eggs. I am averaging 75% pullet from my eggs. #1 and #4 should be wheatens. #2 blue and #3 splash. Should be. I seem to find my blues are diluted in the body and the wheatens stay darker like #1 and #4.

How are their legs? Feathering?

Beautiful! Mine havent started laying yet. I can't wait. I have the perfect little black AM roo ready and waiting for them! Hopefully I am on the right track with them.
