I'm pretty sure its a hen, not 100% sure, never had an Americana rooster!
But I googled it and it looks like this is what a rooster is.

I was afraid of that. Picked up 12 EEs from TSC and I think all but 2 are gonna turn out to be Roos!

Here's another that has a girlie looking profile, and a tail with no long sickle feathers but has those dang pointy saddle feathers.
