Built two new dome pens over the weekend, damn if a 2x4x8 treated aint $7 each

yeah I quit using 2x4s there outrageous I started using 2x3 there 1.89 at Lowe’s and come in 8 footers they’ve been working good for me.

I checked online at Lowe’s. The treated 2x4x8ft are $7.88 here. I honestly don’t remember what I paid before but that seems awfully high.

Home Depot $7.77 yes, that high but I "think" the price has actually come down a bit.
"Regular" 2X4 is $5.25. Used to get those for around $2.00

I stocked up on 3x5x8 landscape timbers when they were $3.24 each. They rip easy on a good table saw.
