I noticed when I got one of my CHICks That it had a couple feathers sticking up on it's back .now they stick up about 1-2 inches .other then this She looks and acts fine.I've never saw this before . I checked it the main 2 bottom wing feathers . Questions is should They be trimmed??

Hi there. :frow

Angel wing is not a known problem in chicks. I have seen what are describing ONCE before out of hundreds of chicks raised though.

I simply monitored it and the chick eventually grew into the feathers without any long term issues.

It's probably just a growth spurt... and I would NOT be trimming the feathers.

Please feel free to post a pic if you are still concerned and able to.
