Somewhat new to chickens, Just got my own bunch of rhodies. Can't wait to see them react to snow here in Washington. I don't plan on heating my coop for the winter, but may add some roofing material to cover their wood roof. I really don't find it gets that extremely cold here on Whidbey from all the wind keeping cold somewhat at bay.
