Anyone have 4-5 week old Barred Rock pics?

Not like this helps .. but gives me hope since both legs look the same color and both have red in their combs!!

Unfortunately both pictured barred rocks are male. White bars wider than black bars are the giveaway. Comb and waddles that red also say boy, while pullets can "flush" pink when excited they don't get quite that red, and the waddle growth is too much for females of that age. The photo you shared of adult birds shows bright red comb and waddles because it is a mature hen. Pullets won't be that red until much closer to reproductive age (16+ weeks).

I have a six week old BPR and he has had wattles for 3 weeks ... the rest are hens ... no wattles.
