This babe was stuck in her egg, shrink wrapped in half her membrane. At the advice of others, we helped get her a little more out of the egg, but then once she was completely egg free, I noticed her navel. Is there any coming back from this, can she be a healthy chick with a good life?

It looks to me like a smallish unhealed navel/hernia and, if so, the chances are good that she should be able to heal. I've had chicks with larger ones - the areas usually turn dark and dry as they heal, and one day the scab just falls off and the area looks normal. With this kind of navel issue, I like to put some pain reliever-free triple antibiotic ointment on it to help prevent infection and keep an eye on it, including making sure other chicks don't peck it. Good luck!
