Hi,
I have 2 astralorps, both 11 weeks old, that look pretty different to each other. I was hoping you could help me identify their gender. Neither are crowing or seem aggressive.

This one is a lot smaller, but has long tail feathers.

And this one is a lot bigger, but more round. She also has sprinkles of green throughout her whole body. Her feet are black compared to the other one.

The first one is NOT an Australorp.
Only the second is.
The first is a Black Leghorn.
Both are girls.
Oh wow really?? That is really surprising since the breeder prides himself on his australorps. That seems crazy he mixed them up with a different breed!! Thankyou so much for your input, now to research black leghorns haha

I also have an Australorp that is 11 weeks old, looks spitting image of yours, but funny thing happened, out of three chicks one just recently passed away, so we layed her on the ground so that that they could say their good buys and the mum could see her and what happened is the Australorp walked on top of her and did what a rooster would do it kept coming back every few minutes and repeating, so could this one be a Roo.

Any ideas on the breed? I think they are girls. I believe the two white ones are leghorns, but not sure about the black ones. Thank you
